Human Lifespans in Our Era [CAT-003]
Rule Categories: Character & User Profiles, Scenarios
Action required: Moderators, Admins and GMs must determine circumstances by which characters live, die, and quality of life.
Explanation:
In Biblical times, Man lived to be 700 (or so) years (not all man). In a time with much more modern and sophisticated medicine, health education and life in space, the Human species lifetime has been expanded to a maximum of 200 years. This does not mean characters will live for 200 years. There are many more dangers in the galaxy than there are on Earth, not to mention risks of space travel and all the different things and environments on other planets not suited for Humans. There are still those with health problems, war injuries, people not able to get medical attention in a timely manner due to circumstance, etc.
Humans who have knowledge and abilities of the Force shall live no longer than 500 years. On average, Force-sensitive characters will live 300-400 years but will face many more dangers than the average human. They will constantly battle each other who are of opposite Affinities in the Force and will also confront many dangerous situations in order to maintain order and peace (if they are lawful Good) or to just to maintain power and fulfill their own desires (if they are unlawful Evil). As this rule does not define the various Affinities of the Force, that will be released by the Force Admin and Training Enforcement team (FATE).
I testify that the Council of Administrators has voted this rule into effect by majority vote. Authorization 12062015KAA, Rule # CAT-003, Effective 12 June 2015, Imperial Republic Year 34.
