Action required: Effective immediately, all players must choose a Character Year of Birth for their EOTIR characters between 40 UFY and 35 IRY. As you can see, the current year of the IR is displayed at the top of each forum page, and on the main EOTIR.com website. The Timeline can be viewed at http://wiki.eotir.co…title=Timeline. Refer to this posting for access information.
Explanation:
Our historical timeline starts at 40 [80] UFY. No character can be older than 116 (40 [80] UFY) until 36 IRY other than “parents, family members, mentors, old friends” and the like that are in some way connected to your character and part of your history. It has been determined that 40 UFY will equal 200 ABY in the Star Wars timeline.
The numbers count down from 40 [80] UFY to (zero) UFY/IRY and then counts up from 1 IRY to present date (35 IRY at the time of this posting).
The Imperial Republic was founded, chartered, and organized in what we call the FIrst Year of the IR, which is 1 IRY (technically 0 IRY but we decided to go with 1 IRY instead).
To do so, please email your character name and CYOB to [email protected] and a CAT team member will update your character profile posting and your user profile that has been added as a new custom profile field to all forum users and once this is updated it will display underneath your avatar in all forum posts.
Action detail: Once you have set your CYOB it can only be changed within the first month of setting it. After that any requests to change the CYOB will be declined.
