History:

Vexander Smith was born at Corellia by his father Lieutenant Nihl Smith and his mother the Brigadier General Isabella Trent-Smith whom where officers in the Corellian Security Forces.

Due to their military nature, Vexander was heavily trained and disciplined in several skills by high ranking officers that were friends of his parents. In time, the young man proved to be skilled in the use of swords and blasters, however none of these really attracted the boy as much as the use of snub fighters and space combat and travel.

His own father taught him everything he had to know regarding piloting, fixing and modifying starfighters to fit his needs prior a battle, Lieutenant Smith delivered the lessons to the young Smith with their family heirloom, an Ancient X-Wing starfighter that was used by his great grandfather: Commander Maximus Smith from the Galactic Alliance Starfighter Command.

When he got old enough, he was encouraged to enroll in the CorSec Academy to join their ranks as his parents which he did to please his father who he looked up to.

In his first year, the young Vex passed every single test with outstanding performance and was known as a skilled Rookie Pilot through the entire Academy. It was then when tragedy came to his life…

A terrorist attack at the planet Commenor in the Corellian System got the attention of CorSec and his parents where recalled to the planet leaving Vexander (who had 18 years at the time) completely alone, only hearing from the reports that the Holocom provided.

After approximately 2 weeks, one of his parent’s friends came home with his full uniform and with a letter giving him the worst news he could get: the convoy of ships where his mother and father were being shipped was attacked. His father got out of the Capital Ship to repel the attackers along with his fighter squadron, he got shot down but his fighter’s remains where never found… his mother on the other hand, was killed when the Capital Ship where he was stationed got heavily bombarded when the escort was destroyed.

The news was not very well received by Vex, however he did not released even a single tear, and he just swallowed all his sorrow and frustration. After that he dropped the CorSec Academy completely, took all his personal belongings along with the ring his father gave to him before he went to the Academy and decided to go on his own with the X-Wing his father had stored.

During the next couple of years, Vexander worked for several freedom fighters organizations fighting against space pirates and terrorism with the intention to avoid anyone from sharing the fate of his parents and to go over the sorrow that he experienced, however his sense of justice was left unsatisfied.

When he met the minimum age, he joined the Imperial Republic Academy in order to join the Navy and wait to see if destiny has something interesting at bay for him.

Type of Childhood:

Due to the fact that his parents where both military officers, Vexander’s childhood was extremely disciplined, moral values such as compassion, love and justice where something that he was told to hold in his heart and his mind all the time and because of that he was usually encouraged to deliver his best and to continue honing his skills.
