History
Vanessa, an only child, was born to Dr. Myra Cruceo-Mikhaila, M.D. and Major Robert Mikhaila, both from Coruscant. Her father was a career officer in the Coruscant Police Force and her mother a surgeon at before he and his partner were killed in the middle of a high-profile corruption case. It was left to her mother to raise her and her mother did a great job and provided her all the love and affection that she needed. But she always felt the void that her father’s death had caused. Her father’s death had awoken an inherent interest towards law enforcement in her. After graduating from college, she was accepted into the Coruscant Police Force. She dedicated her career at Coruscant Police, into tracking down her father’s killer and once she was accepted into the Organized Crime Division of the Coruscant Police Force she focused her free time on building a case and eventually taking down her father’s killer.
After she got justice for her father, she built a new career for herself in the Imperial Republic Security Bureau. Since she joined the Imperial Republic Security Bureau, she has held roles of increasing responsibilities, culminating in the her appointment as a liaison officer to numerous agencies and foreign governments.
