History

Saika was the foster daughter of a security guard that worked at Courscant Medical. She looked to her father and aspired to be like him: strong, kind, and committed. To this end, she made it her goal to become a security agent, just like her father. In the year 23, when she was 18, her father was killed by a group of thugs who tried to break into the hospital. A couple of years after her father’s funeral, she was approached by two men, who she recognized from her father’s funeral. After a brief conversation with her, they thought Saika was a perfect candidate for the position they were trying to fill. The two revealed themselves as Master Sergeants in the Imperial Republic Royal Guard and offered a position in the Royal Guard. At first, Saika was skeptical. However, she didn’t want to pass up the opportunity on the chance they were actually members of the Royal Guard. Saika accepted their offer and within a few days, she heard back from one of the Guardsmen, saying that she has been cleared to join as a Guardsman. Over the years, Saika rose through the ranks of the Royal Guard and was eventually assigned to His Majesty’s personal Royal Guard attachment as the Captain, following the promotion of the previous Captain, Koru Tav.
