Personality
Nature : Good and kind natured. Has a tendency to speak his mind, sometimes when it’s not wanted. Follows his gut. He’s right most of the time. In battle he will do what is necessary to get him and his teammates/protectee out alive.
Habbits : Puts his right hand in his pocket when he doesn’t think about it

Whenever he goes into an area he sometimes thinks of how he would take it down/hold it up/escape paths/etc.
Strengths : Master with his bow and knife

Though he is a natural leader, he lets others take charge for fear that he will make a wrong decision. If need be, he will take charge.

Goals
Character’s ultimate goal : protect the innocent, bring wrong doers to justice, and to find out his ulimate purpose in life
How does character plan to accomplish goals? : Doing his job to the best of his ability, helping out others, following his gut
How will other characters be affected? : Hopefully come to trust him…but that will be decided in RP
Background – This cannot be left blank. We don’t want characters that
have no recollection of who they are. They must at least have a short
amount of history known.
History : Koru Tav was born into a family that were descenedants from a long (very long) line Chickasaw indians. In his younger years he was given his education by his mother. When his father was home from work, he would teach Koru that ancient tradition of shooting a bow and arrow. Koru practiced with it every day and soon became a master with it. As his father was often away, Koru would practice with his bow. He eventually took up blaster weapons and began practicing with them. He found that he had a knack for it and practised shooting a blaster along side of his bow practise. His father and mother both taught him how to fight with a knife and how to fight hand to hand. Following Their heritage, his parents took him to some of the most deserted of planets when they could and taught him hunting, stealth and how survive in the wild; his parents were passing on their heratige to their son. Although he could be fierce as his ancestors, he remained gentle. He eventually particitpated in different weapons tournaments and excelled in them and won. Eventually he helped in the family business and became an adequate pilot. On his 15th birthday, he was given his very own compound bow and vibroknife. Unfortunately his father had to leave on business the same day.
Soon after his father left, Tragedy struck. A group of pirates known as The Beasts had been preying on ships in that area for sometime yet had never attacked a space station. Because they were so active, Several stations in the sector called for military support. The military was able to prevent several of the raids and destroy their HQ but never was able to destoy the gang. The day Koru’s father left, the pirates made a bold move and attacked the station In hopes of taking the station over. The attack lasted all of 10 minutes. All the people of the station fought back valiently the bloodiest of the battle was took place were Koru and his mother was. Him and his mother fought and held many of the troops for the first 5 minutes. His mother was riddled with blaster fire in the chest. She managed to throw her knife into her would be killers head killing him instantly. Koru who was behing cover jumped out of cover to avoid a thermal detonator. Although he escaped with his life, his right arm was lost in the explosion as well as giving him a gash above his right eye. Feeling no pain because of the amount of adrenaline, Koru took his knife in his left and and cut down the remaining three pirates. He then passed out from loss of blood and shock.
He awoke a week later he found he was in a bacta tank and his father wasn’t back. He quickly healed and resumed fireing blasters with his left hand and soon became to the same effeciency he had with his right hand. His father came home and heard what had happened. They were devestated for the loss but were proud she fell fighting. With some money and several of his father’s contacts, Koru was given the best metal prostetic arm they could buy. Several times Koru’s father tried to pay the money, but the contacts said no and told him that it was a gift after what happened. The new arm allowed Koru to once again fire the bow with greater speed and deadlyness. Though there were advantages with the arm, it had it’s disadvantages. One night he was out on a date with Kat. He gave her what he thought was a light hug with his right arm. He accidently crushed her shoulder. Although it was repaired, he hasn’t yet forgiven himself.
At the age of 20, he began to go into the career of being a bodyguard. He helped several low ranking individuals among other people and was able to climb the so called ladder. Several times he was offered a head postion as a bodyguard but turned it down each time due to the fact he didn’t feel qualified. He saved his money over the years and was able to buy his own transport (partly with the help of his father).
He has worked with IR in the past but never that extensively. He joined the Royal Guard when he turned 32.
Although many things has happened to him, he still remain “gentle giant” (although he is kinda short
Type of Childhood : A good and fun Childhood. Was educated via parents. Taught in many of the ways of the Chickasaw. During his teachings, his parents told him to follow his instincts/gut. It hasn’t proven him wrong…most of the time. He also enjoys the pastime of running. During his childhood, he would hear stories of the so called Jedi and of what they did. He thought it would be cool to be a jedi. Being a child he tried to make things move, jump high, etc. But nothing ever happened. That time has long since passed but the idea still remains in the far reaches of his mind. He mainly works out and runs.
