History

Born on Bothawui, 25 years before the foundation of the Imperial Republic, Hosk Buw’atu grew up to be a great entrepreneur in his time. Hosk worked for many businesses in high placed positions, and eventually became the CEO of Syntex Incorproated, which specialized in Security Software. He later served in the Bothan Council when he became interested in politics. While still the owner of Syntex Inc., Hosk turned over the position of CEO to one of his sons, whom he knew he could keep a better eye on than just any other member of the company board. He became a well respected member of the Council and many came to respect and look up to Councilor Buw’atu. He represented the Bothans to various different planets, serving as the planet’s ambassador as appointed by the Council, and negotiated with many leaders of various systems and planets for the Bothan people. In this process he made many “friends” as much as Bothans do, and developed relationships that would prove beneficial to him in the end. During this process he attended the Coruscant Academy of Law and obtained a degree in Galactic Law. As a lawyer, he helped a member of the Bothan Council be cleared of false charges brought against him, and later was appointed a judge in the planet’s highest court, and later the Royal Court. The first to be appointed as High Inquisitor, Hosk Bu’watu was appointed by High Prince James Stratus.
