Biography: Derek Angel was born a slave on the planet Tatooine. About age 3 his father (James Angel) was sick of being a slave and challenged their owner to a fight to the death. If James Angel won him and his family would be free from the slavery. James lost and the owner of them (Thomas Vendel) Had James’s body burned in front of the rest of the family. [Derek and Ginny Angel (The mom of Derek)]. At age 6 he had enough. Even though he was very little Derek is very Independent and intelligent so he knew what was happening. So one night he got up very early and creeped through the small sand house and escaped. Little did he know that, it MIGHT be the last time he see’s his mom ever again. He, surprisingly, survived for a whole year. But this one day was just to hot and he tried to steal (like usual) some food from a meat vendor but this time he was caught. The owner knocked him out and threw him into an ally unconscious.

The next thing Derek knew is that he is in a under ground base of an assassination group. They found him that night when he was knocked out and brought in. He was trained and taken care for as an assassin from age 7-13 until he knew the deadliest melee killing moves and learned the ways of blending in with almost anything. He also learned how to use most Blaster rifles/pistols and knifes/ swords. Even with all of his training including stealth kills he is very impatient. He started contracts at age 14 Whenever he got a contract he wouldn’t do it unless he knew why and what to expect.

On one of his mission’s he fell of a building after killing the target and broke his left leg. Although it was healed it still occasionally hurts. On another contract he got into a melee fight with machete’s with his target and that resolved in with his scar straight down his face.

After killing almost 50 people for money within 2 years he decided it was time to stop and he realized that he should go (he always knew what he was doing was wrong). He was searching for a right place until he was 18 when he was begging for money from a IRIS agent. The agent (Lan Klone) ask Derek about his past. Derek told the story. Then Lan told Derek about his past and it was somewhat similar. Lan then Recruited Derek into the IRIS.

(Since it has been such a long time since Derek used his Assassin training he is rusty on everything he learned.)

Personality: Stubborn, Independent, likes to keep past/his history to himself. Can keep a secret to the extreme if necessary (Due to Assassin training)
