Colette has no previous military training. Because of this, her combat skills are basic. She is smart enough to improvise, but still lacks the proper training. She can shoot a blaster with fair aim. She is a workaholic, and because of this, doesn’t have many relations. The only relations she is good at having is contacts that are work related. She also is not a very good mother. Sometimes lacks the wisdom to know when she needs to stop working, when drive over powers sleep needs. She can also be somewhat clumsy at times, but has worked on this flaw and has acquired much more grace. She can be very bull headed at times. She also has a closed heart because of her past marriage. It is a flaw for her because she could become a better person if it were more open.

Physical Characteristics:

Colette is tall for an average woman. She has long slender legs, and sapphire eyes. Her hair is short and black, however she is considering growing it out. She is lean, and if she didn’t work so much and concentrated more on perhaps combat training or working out, she could have a toned body that would look very nice on her.

Biography:

Colette was born and raised on Kuat with her mother, father and two siblings. She was the middle child, and was given a regular childhood. When she turned twelve her family moved to Coruscant, and that is when most of her life took it’s change. Her father was strucken sick with a known illness that at the time was uncurable. Her older sister was forced to stay home and help take care of him with their mother. It was then their little brother, Dervin who was only nine at the time, was hit by a rampaging speeder, killing him on site. Within two months the Miller girls lost both their father/husband and their brother/son. The three had to hold onto eachother to survive.

Jessica went into the medical field, determined to find a cure for the disease that had taken their father from them, and Colette went into the law, determined to put forth a new law in regards to driving while inhiberated. Funny how big decisions can make even bigger changes in one’s life.

Colette excelled in her schooling, very bright for her age. But she was also very fickle, very clumsy and extremly flirtatious. This got her in trouble when she was twenty-two. Young and in love with a man two years younger than she, they soon ended up pregnant. Though she was still young and immature, her mind was set in determination to get this new law passed and having a baby wasn’t what she had planned. Forced into marriage by her mother and his parents, the two became extremly unhappy. She finished law school in the top 10th percentile but found it difficult to get hired into a good law firm while pregnant or even as a mother. Her career took a rocky curve as she had her first child, Marissa. As soon as Marissa was born, she demanded Marcus help take care of her so she could return to her passion of the law. He eventually agreed, but because of the discrimination of mothers in the law firm (apparently they wouldn’t have time to dedicate to the firm if they had a child), Colette became an Instructor at the Imperial Republic Academy on Coruscant. For four years she taught there, before finally being accepted into one of the top firms in Coruscant as a lawyer. She was twenty six at the time, and within two years got her new law passed and continued to practice, appearing before many courts throughout the galactic region, not just Coruscant, representing clients of all sorts and species, for all different kinds of cases. Her nick name was the “Renassaince Lawyer”.

For four years she continued this, excelling at her career and becoming one of the top best human female lawyers in the galactic region. But during the passing four years she ended up divorcing her husband Marcus. The two just didn’t get along, and she had found herself pregnant again at thirty. At age thirty one, almost ten years of marriage, they divorced. Colette keeps the children on the weekends and holidays. But she immerses herself so much into work she doesn’t have time to be a real mom. Only part of her feels bad for this.

It was during these four years though that she was noticed. Noticed by one inparticular, an Eric Taylor Jackson. It was when she was thirty two that he offered her the position as assistant to the Executor. Something Colette wouldn’t really see herself doing, but then again things in her firm weren’t up to any good and it was begining to royaly aggrivate her. Feeling she had saved enough money for the rest of her lifetime, she could go for the pay cut and the not as stressful position.

Layha Solo-Katarn had taken the position of Executor when Colette arrived, and she has sense not seen Eric. Months had passed, and the IRSB headquarters were destroyed by one of their own. During her help in aiding the IRSB, she was promoted to Lt. General, Deputy Director of the IRSB.

Personality

Colette is a very outspoken person, it comes with her background of her previous career. She is persistent, fickle, and rather picky about things. This is also why she is now divorced and doesn’t necessarily have the men knocking down her door. She tends to be rather intimidating, but is also a comical klutz. She is very witty and happens to say the right thing at the right time…some call it comedic timing. She hates chauvinists, is a very hard worker, and absolutely loves confrontation…debating is her greatest skill. She is a professional to the ‘T’, and gets the job done. She has been known to get the answers she needs by either manipulation or interrogation.
